I'm really not sure who's kid John is... the poor thing can't seem to gain weight! I have never had that problem...
We went back to the doctor again today and he only gained 2 oz in the past week. He is now up to 7 lbs. It's hard to believe that he was bigger than this when he was born! Needless to say, the pediatrician has us supplementing him with formula to give him the calories that he isn't getting from me.
Apparently, I am good at giving him hormones though... the poor kid has a BAD case of baby acne. For that reason, we haven't taken a lot of pictures of him recently. Maybe the formula will help clear that up as well.
As far as Barkey is concerned, she doesn't mind that he is a skinny kid with acne. She is definitely starting to warm up to him and even gave him his first "kiss" on the arm yesterday.

Hey, I love a baby with acne. ;) He's just getting it out of his system so he won't have to be gross teenage boy with zits, right??
LK had it BAD. And the little weight gain. The formula will pump him right up. But hey, 2 ounces is good. A gain is a gain!

Don't sweat that "getting back to their birth weight." They all do eventually. It took Mo 5 weeks...and she was only 6 pounds, 10 ounces at birth. Needless to say, she takes after her daddy! ha ha ha
Can't wait to see that boy in person! Love y'all...
